I sent my daughter to find some yellowish-brownish leaves in our neighborhood. She came back with a big butterfly in her hand instead. There were no leaves such colors around - she said. But I planned to paint a leaf, so I went, and found one... the only one yellow leaf deep in the forest.
Beautiful! The leaf is executed perfectly but I am drawn to the shadow and the glow of light under the leaf.
