Blue and Orange
I am satisfied with the painting. But the quality of the photo leaves much to be desired. My camera just refuses to work with the blues.

The Tastiest Fruit
When I bought these oranges, I did not expect much of them as they were not very prepossessing on the outside. However, when I cut this one and tried it, I was amazed - it was so sweet and juicy that I couldn't help eating all of it except for this slice, which survived the rest of the original fruit by an hour due to being my model.

Orange Orange Burning Bright
I couldn't for the life of me come up with a name for this orange painting and my husband suggested "orange, orange, burning bright". At first, I wasn't happy with this idea but then I thought for a while and agreed.

A Pair of Friends
Although I told you a few days ago that I was starting a cityscape series, I just can't tear myself away from still lifes like this one - my favorite citrus. I just find them delightful to paint, especially orange and grapefruit - the sun reflecting in the fruit is a feast of inspiration on snowy winter days like today.
