Spring is Coming
Unfortunately, at this time of year, good models like strawberries, raspberries, and the like aren't available. So you have to content yourself with creating cityscapes - and it can turn out to be a good change of scenery from still lifes!

Blue and Orange
I am satisfied with the painting. But the quality of the photo leaves much to be desired. My camera just refuses to work with the blues.

Under the Sun
This is one of my improvisation painting.
I was looking through some of my daughter's photos when she was four/five, and I found a photo where she was wearing a similar sort of dress as the one painted, but was not on the seashore. The only thing in this painting that was taken from the photo is the face - the rest is all improvisation! I rarely try that, but today I decided to change my work scenery.

A Girl From a Cafe
This was a very helpful vendor at Belgian Gelato at Charleston, South Carolina. We visited the store for ice cream at least twice during each of our stays in the city. It was definitely one of the highlights of our traveling!
