Abundance of Fruit
This is 8"x8" gesso board. I worked non-stop for 4 hours on this one. And I didn't notice how the time passed. It was such a painting flow. I just love the 8"x8" size! It feels very comfortable for me.

Work in progress...
This is an 8"x8" gessoboard - I just love this size.
I actually did finish the piece just a half hour ago - but it was too late to take a photo of the finished painting, as it was already too dark. So here is the work in progress, and I will make the finished piece photo tomorrow and post it then.

We Are All Fruit
These apples are from our garden - they are ripe and sweet now! The mandarin has been bought at a fruit stand right below my second floor window - a salesman from Tajikistan is selling fruit there. Mandarins don't grow here, in the Urals - it's too cold for them. I think you can even see the hot climate of Tajikistan in this mandarin's sunny flesh.

Summer Fruit

This is probably my last painting before I move to Russia. I don't want to stop painting even for a short while but we need to start packing and preparing for the journey.

May's Gifts
I am happy to share the exciting news - since my husband needs to collect data for his dissertation, we are going back to Russia for a year or so. We are moving in the end of May. I am so excited about the prospect of finding new inspirations for my small paintings in the new environment! It might take a little longer for my future paintings to reach their buyers in the US - probably about two weeks - but I hope it won't be a problem and they will understand. These two years in Georgia have been a wonderful experience for me and my family!

Red Flower
I dedicate this piece to the pretty red flower on the bowl. Although it is not the main part of the painting, I notice it first when looking at the whole piece.

A Bowl and Four Raspberries
This is a companion to the sold "A Bowl and Two Eggshells". I decided to use the same naming format on both pieces since the bowl is the same and the composition is similar.
