Yellow Pansies
I painted this piece just before darkness fell. I knew that I had to do it in a hurry to transfer onto the gessoboard only the most important brushstrokes. No time for details!

Yellow Leaf
I sent my daughter to find some yellowish-brownish leaves in our neighborhood. She came back with a big butterfly in her hand instead. There were no leaves such colors around - she said. But I planned to paint a leaf, so I went, and found one... the only one yellow leaf deep in the forest.
