Magnolia

The aroma of Magnolia is absolutely amazing, and you are unable to transfer the fragrance onto a painting.

A Day on a Farm
SOLD
My daughter had a horseback riding lesson on a nearby farm a few days ago, so I went around and photographed different sights. One of these 'sights' is a 4-year-old girl whom I decided to paint. This was painted from a photo, which is so unlike me. I found out that painting from photographs has its advantages and disadvantages. It is easier and more convenient, but is most times inaccurate in colors. Sometime I would like to bring my easel to the farm and paint plein air.

Spring Tea
SOLD
I'm not sure of the name of these flowers, but I think they are some sort of lavender or lilac. In Gerogia, they blossom on big trees in the forest. No one owns them, so I just got out of my car on the highway and picked a few!

A Jar of Honey
SOLD
This is a jar of Honeycomb Honey I bought at a nearby store. If you look closely, you can actually see real honeycombs in the painted jar! I found this very interesting. :)
